About us

Whitton Youth Partnership supports and works with children and young people in the Whitton, Whitehouse and Castle Hill areas of Ipswich.

We do this through spending time in the community every day, meeting, listening to and talking with young people and developing further activities together, such as trips and residentials, projects, workshops, accredited learning, volunteering and community action.

We offer young people up to 19 years somewhere safe to meet and participate in activities that build relationships, develop confidence and foster learning. We also provide information, advice and guidance on various issues that affect young people.

We believe all young people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and that each can create, reflect, enjoy, achieve and make a positive difference in their world.

I’ve been coming for 5 years, it’s somewhere to go, and do things, and the youth workers listen to you and what you’re going through
– J 16

We went to Thorpe Woodlands and did loads of stuff, my favourite was the climbing thing and the powerfan
– M 15

The group gives us a space to talk about the things that are important to us – sometimes we mess about but they are kind to us
– J 14

“My son likes seeing his youth worker one to one it really helps him have someone to talk to, its not been an east two years but that really did help him – thank you
